DOVRE TWP, Kandiyohi County (trfnews.i234.me) — Two drivers were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the crash on December 15, 2025. The time was 8:49 a.m.
The State Patrol listed the location as southbound Highway 71 at 60th Avenue NE in Dovre Township.
The crash narrative says the collision happened south of an intersection near Highway 23 and County Road 25.
Road conditions were listed as dry. Troopers listed the incident as an injury crash.
What happened
Troopers said a 2018 GMC Terrain was trying to turn south onto Highway 23 from County Road 25.
Troopers said a 2016 Chevrolet Sonic was traveling south on Highway 23.
The vehicles collided south of the intersection, according to the report.
The crash report does not explain what led to the collision.

Drivers and injuries
The GMC driver was Charlotte Kay Sieck, 87, of Willmar.
Troopers reported non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to CentraCare in Willmar.
The report says Sieck was wearing a seat belt. It also says her airbag did not deploy.
The Chevrolet driver was Carlotta Marie Eischens, 63, of New London.

Alcohol was listed as not involved for either driver.

The State Patrol listed the district as 2600 St. Cloud.
