SAINT PAUL (trfnews.i234.me)TRF News is following a developing investigation in Saint Paul, where two people were discovered dead inside a parked vehicle Sunday evening at a local strip mall parking lot.

Saint Paul police were called just after 5:25 p.m. on April 20 to the Shamrock Plaza strip mall at 289 McKnight Rd. S., following a 911 call reporting two unresponsive individuals inside a vehicle.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male and an adult female inside the vehicle. Fire medics were quickly summoned, but both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, there were no immediate signs of foul play, and the area was not considered a threat to the public. Authorities stated that nothing suspicious was found inside the vehicle at the time, though the vehicle has since been towed for a full forensic examination.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office is now leading the investigation and will conduct autopsies and toxicology tests to determine the official causes of death. However, authorities have not yet disclosed how long the vehicle may have been parked at the location or whether the two individuals had any known connection to the area.

As of Monday, Saint Paul police have not released the identities of the deceased, and the timeline for public release of names remains unclear.

This incident has left many in the Saint Paul community asking questions, though police have emphasized that there is no known ongoing danger to the public related to the deaths.

Updates will be provided as more information becomes available from the medical examiner and investigative team.
