DNA Investigation Leads to Arrest of Car Theft Suspect in Fargo

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a breakthrough development, Fargo police have arrested Trevor Dale Nelson of Fargo on charges of felony theft of property. The arrest follows an investigation into a suspicious vehicle abandoned in a local business parking lot.

On April 16th, Fargo police responded to the report of the suspicious vehicle. Through meticulous DNA analysis of items recovered from the vehicle, investigators identified Nelson as the prime suspect. Nelson, who was already on probation and residing at a homeless shelter, was found to be in possession of a key belonging to the stolen car, which had been taken from an underground garage in Fargo.
