Detroit Lakes (trfnews.i234.me) — A Moorhead woman is facing three charges in Becker County District Court after a traffic stop in Detroit Lakes.

Kaycee Leigh Gullickson is charged with intent to escape taxation, failure to provide insurance information, and driving after revocation.

The case was filed in the Minnesota District Court, Seventh Judicial District, in Becker County. Court records list the case as 03-CR-26-687.

Traffic Stop Reported In Detroit Lakes

According to the complaint, the stop happened on March 17, 2026, at about 10:17 p.m.

A Becker County deputy was traveling south on Roosevelt Avenue near Frazee Street. The deputy reported seeing a vehicle with a center high-mounted brake light that did not work.

The complaint says the vehicle registration was suspended. Court records say it had been sold to Kaycee Leigh Gullickson.

The deputy stopped the vehicle and identified Gullickson as the driver. The complaint says she told law enforcement the truck was not insured.
