GRAND FORKS, ND ( – Travis Dean Bell, a 43-year-old from Fordville, North Dakota, faces criminal charges following a collision at Grand Forks Airport. On Monday evening at 6:41 p.m., Bell’s Ram pickup rear-ended a Ford Focus at a stoplight on Highway 2. The driver, a 26-year-old woman, and her 5-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries. Bell, reportedly claiming he thought the light was green, failed to slow down before impact. A trooper’s alcohol test revealed Bell’s blood alcohol level at 0.12, exceeding the legal limit of 0.08. Charged with two counts of felony criminal vehicular injury, Bell’s case highlights the dangers of impaired driving.
