Pennington County Sheriff’s Office cases:
- Curtis Paul Kingbird, 54, Redby: Charged with second-degree driving while impaired, involving two or more aggravating factors. He was fined $790, sentenced to 364 days in jail with 274 days stayed for four years, and credited for one day served. He can serve the sentence on electronic home monitoring at no cost to Pennington County. A comprehensive assessment must be completed within 60 days of sentencing, with a requirement to complete a level of treatment and aftercare as recommended.
- Robert Elgin Loeffler, 77, Thief River Falls: Received a stay of adjudication for a charge of driving without an ignition interlock device. He was given unsupervised probation for one year. Another charge of theft of services also resulted in a stay of adjudication and continued unsupervised probation for one year, with $60 in restitution.
Thief River Falls Police Department cases:
- Logan Lee Wallace, 46, Killdeer, N.D.: Charged with fourth-degree DWI, fined $510, and sentenced to 30 days in jail, stayed for one year. He is on probation for one year and required to undergo a chemical assessment.
- Ryan Michael Rude, 47, Thief River Falls: Received a stay of adjudication for driving after revocation and continued probation for one year, with a $50 fine.
- Ward Jay Wilson, 63, Greenbush: Charged with failure to notify the victim or police of a collision with an unattended vehicle, fined $135.
- Jamal Dominique Lewis, 31, Thief River Falls: Charged for failure to stop for a collision, with a $135 fine. The charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.
- Jasmine Joy Grindeland, 23, Thief River Falls: Charged with domestic assault, with the case continued for dismissal upon completing six months of unsupervised probation.
