Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Nov. 19 at 4:28 p.m., police received a report of an accident at the entrance to Walmart along Highway 59. At the time of the accident, Yvonne Martinson of Thief River Falls was driving a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country on Highway 59. According to the report, she continued past the stoplight after it had turned red and collided with a 2004 Chevy Impala driven by Vernon Emery of Lancaster. Emery was in the turning lane on the opposite side of the highway. There were no known injuries. Martinson has been cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
