Charges Dismissed Against Wannaska Construction Business Owner

MARSHALL COUNTY, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me)—In November, the criminal case against Ward Wyman Knight, owner of AngleWood Builders in Wannaska, Minnesota, was dismissed. Knight had been charged with theft by swindling, accused of receiving an accidental overpayment for his work, failing to return the excess funds, not completing the contracted job, and not delivering the agreed-upon construction materials.

On November 6, the prosecuting attorney filed for dismissal of the charges, citing the alleged victim’s decision not to pursue the case further. Consequently, the felony charge was dismissed without prejudice, allowing for the possibility of refiling at a later date.
