GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Grand Forks Police now say it was the body of a deceased female found in the Red River on this Monday afternoon.
And an update now from Grand Forks Police. This is from Sergeant Subie uh regarding that body found in the Red River today. Quote, “On September 22nd, 12:28 p.m. Grand Forks police dispatched to the Riverside Dam boat ramp for the report of a deceased female in the water approximately 200 yards north of the boat ramp on the West River Bank. The deceased female was located by a passerby in the area who notified law enforcement. Responding officers met with the reporting party and confirmed that a deceased female was indeed in the river. At this time, the victim’s identity is unknown. The investigation remains ongoing. Personnel from the Grand Forks Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office, regional UAS team, Grand Forks Water Rescue, and Ultra Ambulance responded and assisted with the death investigation.
