Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) – A terrifying incident unfolded Wednesday morning on Interstate 29 just north of Reynolds, North Dakota, after troopers discovered an explosive device during a traffic stop.
At approximately 8:40 a.m., the North Dakota Highway Patrol pulled over a Mercedes-Benz CL2 in the southbound lane for illegal window tint. During a probable cause search, troopers found a device believed to be an explosive, prompting an urgent call to the Grand Forks Bomb Squad.

The driver, a 41-year-old man from Fargo, faces charges for possessing an explosive device, no liability insurance, and tinted windows. His 42-year-old male passenger, also from Fargo, is facing a charge for possessing an explosive device.
The investigation is ongoing.
