FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – This update from Fargo police concerns the report of a deceased man in the Red River in Fargo on July 4th. At approximately 9:45 p.m., a passerby called 911 to report a person in the river. The Fargo Police Department responded along with Fargo Fire and Moorhead Fire. A Fargo police officer located a deceased adult male in the river near the 1400 block of Elm Street North. The Fargo Fire Department assisted police with the removal of the body from the river.
The name of the individual is not being released at this time to allow for notification of next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information is releasable at this time.
