GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Bemidji woman has been charged with credit card fraud in connection with a grocery delivery incident in Grand Forks.
According to court documents, Kassandra M. Franco of Bemidji was working as a grocery delivery driver for a store in Grand Forks when the alleged fraud occurred.
Investigators say Franco altered a customer’s online grocery order by removing several items the customer had requested and adding her own items — including boxer briefs and ankle socks — which she kept when delivering the groceries.
Following an investigation, Franco was arrested and charged with two felonies: unauthorized use of personal identifying information.
Authorities remind consumers to review receipts carefully and order confirmations for any irregularities when using third-party delivery services.
