Heavy Canadian wildfire smoke has shifted south and lessened in
concentration this morning, and is no longer expected to impact
northwestern Minnesota. Therefore, the Air Quality Alert is
cancelled. Air quality may be reduced at times as smoke moves through
west central and southwestern Minnesota today, but not to the level
that would warrant an Alert. Nonetheless, those who are especially
sensitive to poor air quality are encouraged to take actions to limit
exposure if necessary.
