A woman from Grand Forks is accused of possessing 653 fentanyl pills with the intent to manufacture or deliver.

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On Monday, May 13th, when authorities in Grand Forks executed an arrest warrant for Danielle Caroline Hudson, they made a startling discovery inside her purse—approximately 653 fentanyl pills, as reported by the police.

Hudson, aged 30, appeared in court for her initial hearing on Tuesday morning, May 14th. She faces a Class A felony charge for possession of at least 40 grams of fentanyl with the intent to manufacture or distribute.

A probable cause statement submitted in the case revealed that the total weight of the fentanyl found in Hudson’s possession, including the Ziploc bag containing it, was approximately 77.9 grams.

A bond of $15,000 cash or surety was set for Hudson.

Her preliminary hearing and arraignment are scheduled for 9 a.m. on June 24th.
