Brainerd (trfnews.i234.me) — A Baxter man died Friday night in a crash on Highway 210 in Brainerd.
The Minnesota State Patrol identified the driver as James Lonn Davis, 55, of Baxter.
The crash happened at about 7:06 p.m. on October 2.
The location was Highway 210 and 7th Street Northwest in Crow Wing County.
Pickup Crossed Into Westbound Lanes
According to the crash report, Davis was driving a 2012 Ford F-150 eastbound on Highway 210.
Authorities say the pickup crossed into the westbound lanes at 7th Street Northwest.
The truck then struck several light poles and parked vehicles.
The report lists the road condition as dry.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash.
Driver Died At Scene
Davis suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The report states he was not wearing a seat belt.
Authorities also noted the crash involved an unbelted occupant.
The airbag in the pickup did deploy.
Alcohol was not suspected, according to the report.
Several Agencies Responded
Brainerd police and fire crews responded to the scene.
Baxter Police and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
North Ambulance responded as well.
The State Patrol listed the information as believed complete.
