New Sweden Township (trfnews.i234.me) — A 77-year-old St. Peter woman died following a two-vehicle crash in Nicollet County.

Margo Ann Brown was driving a 2025 Honda Pilot when the vehicles collided.

The crash happened around 1:19 p.m. on October 2.

The location was Minnesota Highway 22 and Nicollet County Road 3.

Two SUVs Collide At Intersection

According to the crash report, Brown was traveling east on Highway 22.

A 2013 Cadillac Escalade was traveling south on County Road 3.

The State Patrol report says the Cadillac did not stop at the stop sign.

The two vehicles then collided in the intersection.

The roadway was dry at the time of the crash.

Airbags deployed in both vehicles.

St. Peter Driver Suffers Fatal Injuries

Brown suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

The report lists HCMC as the health care facility associated with her case.

Brown was wearing a seat belt.

Alcohol was not suspected, according to the State Patrol report.

Second Driver Injured

The Cadillac was driven by Valeria Marylou Thompson, 74.

Thompson suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.

She was transported to Mayo Hospital for treatment.

Thompson was also wearing a seat belt.

Alcohol was not suspected for Thompson.

Multiple Agencies Respond

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

Allina EMS, Mayo 3, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation also responded.

The State Patrol listed the crash information as believed complete.
