Fargo Apartment Deaths Under Investigation

Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) — Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a Fargo apartment Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 3100 block of 44th Street South around 1:51 p.m.

The call began as a welfare check, according to the Fargo Police Department.

Officers arrived at the apartment but could not contact anyone inside.

The Fargo Fire Department was then called to help officers enter the apartment.

Two People Found Dead

Once inside, officers found two deceased people, according to police.

Investigators from the department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene.

Authorities have not released the names of the two people.

Police also have not announced their ages or any other identifying information.

The circumstances surrounding the deaths remain under investigation.

Police said there were no obvious signs showing how either person died.

The causes and manners of death remain unknown at this stage.

Police said investigators are waiting for autopsy results before releasing more details.

Autopsies can help determine both the cause and manner of a person’s death.
