Roseau Man Charged After Alleged Juvenile Harassment
Roseau (trfnews.i234.me) — Nicholas J. Gerulli Jr. faces a felony harassment charge involving three juveniles, according to court documents.
Prosecutors allege the conduct involved victims under 18 and sexual or aggressive intent.
Police Called to Roseau Burger King
Police were called to a Burger King in Roseau at about 9:08 p.m. on September 20.
The call reported an adult man making sexual gestures toward juveniles.
A restaurant manager told officers that Gerulli had followed the juveniles into the restaurant.
The group included three children, ages 11, 10, and 10.
The juveniles told officers that Gerulli approached them inside the Burger King.
They said he began making sexual references and asking them questions.
The manager saw the interaction and told Gerulli to leave, according to the probable cause statement.
One juvenile said this was not the first time Gerulli had followed the group.
Second Encounter Reported
The juveniles were traveling by bicycle and on foot.
They gave officers a description of Gerulli’s vehicle.
Court documents say the description matched a vehicle registered to him.
Officers planned to contact Gerulli by telephone after speaking with the juveniles.
Before that happened, dispatch received another report involving the same group.
The juveniles said Gerulli drove past them after they left Burger King.
Two juveniles said they were traveling east on Center Street near Main Avenue.
They told officers Gerulli made another sexual gesture with his hands.
They also said he asked them where he lived before driving away.
Felony Harassment Charge Filed
The allegations are detailed in a statement of probable cause filed in the case.
Gerulli is charged with felony harassment involving a victim under 18 and alleged sexual or aggressive intent.
Minnesota’s harassment law includes aggravated felony provisions involving victims younger than 18.

They say he has convictions involving restraining-order violations and criminal sexual conduct.
