Logan County (trfnews.i234.me) — Two men were killed in a head-on crash involving two semi-trucks on Highway 30 in Logan County on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened at about 8:34 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2025. It was near mile marker 22. That is about three miles south of Streeter.

What happened

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a 2026 International truck pulling a semi-trailer was traveling northbound on Highway 30. A 2025 Kenworth truck pulling double semi-trailers was traveling southbound.

The two trucks collided head-on. Both drivers died at the scene.

The driver of the International was a 39-year-old man from Moorhead, Minnesota. The driver of the Kenworth was a 54-year-old man from Wishek, North Dakota.

A passenger in the International was also hurt. The passenger was a 41-year-old man from East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Troopers said he suffered serious injuries.

He was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.

Road closure and response

Authorities said road and weather conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

Highway 30 was closed with a detour for about six hours.

Several agencies responded. They included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

Other crews assisted. They included the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Medina Rescue, Streeter Fire, Gackle Ambulance, and Gackle Fire.

Sanford AirMed also responded.

Investigation continues

The Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
