Thief River Falls Man Charged in Child Solicitation Case

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — A Thief River Falls man faces a felony charge involving alleged online messages sent to a 13-year-old relative.

Earl Robert Headbird Jr. was charged in Beltrami County District Court. The charge involves soliciting a child through electronic communication to engage in sexual conduct.

The charge is filed under Minnesota Statute 609.352. A conviction could bring up to five years in prison. It could also result in a $10,000 fine.
