GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On Saturday evening, just after 6 p.m., Grand Forks authorities received a report of a male carrying what appeared to be an AR-style rifle while walking over the University Avenue overpass. The situation prompted a response from local police.
UND Police Chief Rodney Clark has since clarified that the weapon in question was determined to be an airsoft gun, not a real firearm. The individual, described as a teenager in a white T-shirt and black shorts, has not been located yet, but authorities are still investigating. Chief Clark assured that there is no immediate threat, and the public should not be overly concerned.
