Detroit Lakes Man Charged After Traffic Stop
Detroit Lakes (trfnews.i234.me) — A Detroit Lakes man is facing two charges after a traffic stop in Becker County.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Becker County District Court, Tyler Ray Kertscher is charged with failure to provide insurance information and driving after revocation.
The case is filed in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District. Court records list the case number as 03-CR-26-686.

A law enforcement officer reported seeing a northbound vehicle with one working headlight.
The vehicle was stopped at about 1:09 a.m.
The driver was identified as Tyler Ray Kertscher, according to the complaint.
Court documents say Kertscher’s driving privileges were revoked at the time.
The complaint also says he could not provide proof that the vehicle was insured.
Prosecutors allege Kertscher knew, or had reason to know, his license was revoked.
They also allege he failed to provide the required insurance information.
