MINNESOTA FALLS TOWNSHIP (trfnews.i234.me) – A Harley-Davidson motorcycle crash involving a deer left two people injured in Yellow Medicine County on the night of June 23, 2025.

At approximately 8:39 p.m., 71-year-old Raymond Neal Cox of Redwood Falls was traveling southbound on MNTH 67 near 254th Avenue when his 2008 Harley-Davidson struck a deer.

Cox was transported to Granite Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 46-year-old Stephanie Kay Cox, also from Redwood Falls, was airlifted to CentraCare St. Cloud for treatment.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet, and alcohol was not a factor. The road was dry, and agencies on scene included Granite Fire and Ambulance, Granite PD, and the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
