Wright County: Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 12 in Montrose Leaves One Injured – trfnews.i234.me

Wright County (trfnews.i234.me)On the morning of May 27, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 12 in Montrose, Wright County, Minnesota. At approximately 10:01 a.m., a 2013 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound and a 2023 Mazda CX-30 traveling westbound collided near milepost 131.

The driver of the Toyota Camry, 32-year-old Paul Themba Olsem of Waverly, Minnesota, and his two young passengers, aged 5 and 7, were all properly restrained and did not sustain any injuries. The driver of the Mazda CX-30, 56-year-old Zachery Lee Berdt of Minneapolis, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Buffalo Hospital for treatment.

Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident. The Montrose Fire Department, Wright County Sheriff’s Office, and Ridgeview Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
