Grand Forks County, North Dakota ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Woodbury, Minnesota, woman has pleaded not guilty to two major methamphetamine conspiracy charges in Grand Forks County.

According to court records, Kimberly Michele Mark, 47, waived her preliminary hearing on Monday, August 25, and entered not guilty pleas to two Class A felony counts of conspiracy to possess at least 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. In North Dakota, Class A felonies carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Mark came under investigation after the May 15 arrest of 57-year-old Jeffrey John Dubay in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Dubay was accused of transporting 178 grams of methamphetamine on an Amtrak train. He was arrested at the train depot and has also pleaded not guilty to his own Class A felony drug charge. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 26.

According to investigators, Dubay told police he obtained meth from Mark in Minneapolis/St. Paul area. A drug task force officer later confirmed this through messages between the two. Additional information from a confidential informant linked Mark to another man who allegedly purchased between 1.5 and 2 pounds of meth from her near Sauk Centre, Minnesota, on May 30. That man was stopped on his return trip, and authorities reported finding more than 911 grams of meth in his vehicle.

Altogether, Mark is accused of supplying a total of 1,089 grams of methamphetamine — nearly two and a half pounds — for distribution in the Grand Forks area. She was charged in June, and a warrant for her arrest was filed on June 27. She was apprehended on July 11 and remains held at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center on a $50,000 bond.

Mark’s next court appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on November 20 for a final dispositional conference.

Authorities emphasize that meth trafficking continues to be a major concern across Minnesota and North Dakota. Learn more about methamphetamine dangers here.
