Polk County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 62-year-old woman from Warren, Minnesota, is facing gross misdemeanor DWI charges after allegedly driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of 0.32%—four times the legal limit.
On July 2, 2025, a caller reported a Jeep Wrangler swerving westbound from McIntosh on Highway 2. MSP Troopers responded and found the vehicle parked at the Cenex gas station in Erskine.
The driver, identified as Danielle Kay Golden, admitted she had “several strong drinks” at a bar in McIntosh before driving. Troopers observed signs of impairment, including poor coordination and a Solo cup in the console. She failed multiple sobriety tests.
Golden was arrested and transported to the Northwest Regional Corrections Center, where she registered an astonishing 0.32 BAC during a breath test.
Golden now faces Third Degree DWI charges, which carry a potential penalty of up to 364 days in jail and a $3,000 fine.
