FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Lacey Smith is currently in custody at Cass County Jail after being arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in north Fargo.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. at an apartment complex on 11th St. N., close to Roosevelt Elementary, prompting a police response.
According to authorities, Smith engaged in an altercation with the apartment owner before attempting to forcibly enter through a window. In an act of self-defense, the owner stabbed Smith in the arm with a kitchen knife.
Following the altercation, Smith retaliated by throwing rocks at the apartment from outside, causing property damage.
Smith received medical treatment for her injuries before being taken into custody.
Police have stated that the individuals involved were acquainted with each other, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
