Woman Allegedly Forced to Fire Gun Before Assault: Man from Cooperstown Facing Felony Charges

COOPERSTOWN, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Richard H. Sutcliffe of Cooperstown, North Dakota, is facing serious felony charges following a disturbing incident. According to court documents, Sutcliffe is accused of reckless endangerment, terrorizing, domestic violence, and aggravated assault.

In the early hours of April 23rd, Griggs County received a distressing 911 call reporting a woman screaming for help. Upon arrival, officers found a female victim who claimed Sutcliffe forced her to hold a firearm and fire it into a wall. Subsequently, he allegedly assaulted her.

The victim, visibly injured, suffered three bumps on her head, bruising to her face and shoulder blade, a scrape to her lower back, severe bruising on both knees and a ripped earring. She was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Richard H. Sutcliffe now faces the consequences of these disturbing allegations as he is formally charged with multiple felonies.
