Grand Forks, Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) – A chilling case out of Grand Forks has led to felony charges for a Wisconsin man. According to court records, Mario D. Womack of Marshfield, Wisconsin, is now charged with attempted gross sexual imposition stemming from a disturbing incident that occurred on May 20, 2024, in a Grand Forks apartment.
The criminal complaint reveals that a woman awoke on a couch to find someone kissing her face and neck, and she was undressed from the waist down. DNA results now allegedly confirm Womack had contact with her underwear.
Womack was reportedly inside the apartment without the victim’s permission. The DNA evidence now supports the charge, bringing this disturbing case one step closer to trial.
