POLK COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Jayden Marie Ray, a 20-year-old from Winger, Minnesota, waived her omnibus hearing on Friday, July 26, and pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and two felony assaults. The charges stem from an incident on January 14, where Polk County deputies responded to a bar in McIntosh, Minnesota. They found a man outside the bar with severe injuries, including at least 20 stab wounds.

The victim, who had been previously locked out after allegedly assaulting bar patrons, was found with blood on his clothes and the surrounding snow. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Ray, who claimed her mother was assaulted by the man, admitted to stabbing him three or four times. Witnesses confirmed her involvement in the violent act.

Ray faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted. Her pre-trial hearing is scheduled for October 15.
