Roseau County (trfnews.i234.me) – A 21-year-old Williams woman is facing two gross misdemeanor charges after she was allegedly caught driving drunk with a dangerously high blood alcohol concentration (.26) after leaving a casino near Warroad.
Morgan Jane Streed, DOB 07/24/2003, was stopped by Red Lake Tribal Police Officer Sandy on 605th Avenue, also known as “Casino Road,” around 12:09 A.M. on May 24, 2025. Officer Sandy observed Streed leave the casino visibly intoxicated and begin driving without headlights.
Trooper Alex Anderson of the Minnesota State Patrol – Thief River Falls arrived on the scene. Streed admitted to drinking a Corona and a shot of tequila and showed several signs of impairment during field sobriety tests.
A preliminary breath test yielded a reading of .262, and a later test at the Roseau County Jail confirmed a .26 BAC — more than three times the legal limit.
Streed is charged with:
-
Count I: DWI – Operate Under Influence of Alcohol (Gross Misdemeanor)
-
Count II: DWI – BAC 0.08+ Within 2 Hours (Gross Misdemeanor)
