GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The official cause of death for 33-year-old Whitney Temple, a Grand Forks doctor who battled Ewing Sarcoma, has been determined by the medical examiner to be natural, attributed to complications from her cancer.
Temple, who was diagnosed with the rare bone cancer two years ago, passed away in May. Prior to her death, her husband, Joshua Temple, faced allegations of domestic abuse. Joshua Temple was arrested on multiple charges, accused of severely beating his wife during her illness.
Despite Whitney Temple’s death and the inability to depose her before she passed, prosecutors are moving forward with the case against Joshua Temple. He had requested to relocate the trial due to high-profile media coverage, but the judge has denied this request for now. A trial date has yet to be set.
