West Central Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — Troopers are working several crashes and jackknifed semis on Interstate 94 this morning between Moorhead and Fergus Falls.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, multiple semis are jackknifed on west central I-94. The problem spots are near mileposts 18, 44, 49, and 57.

The update came around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. It was shared by Sergeant Jesse Grabow of the State Patrol.

Troopers are also handling other crashes in the same corridor. The affected stretch runs between Moorhead and Fergus Falls in west central Minnesota.

Officials say roads are very slippery in the area. Icy patches and packed snow are making it hard for drivers to keep control.

Jackknifed semis can block traffic for long periods. They also put troopers, tow operators, and other drivers at risk on the roadway.

Drivers are urged to slow down well below the posted speed. Increase following distance and avoid sudden braking or lane changes.

Motorists should check real-time travel information before heading out. Road and weather updates are available on Minnesota’s 511 system at 511mn.org.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation posts winter driving tips and plow updates at dot.state.mn.us.

Troopers say today’s crashes are another reminder that winter driving season has started. Even when a road looks clear, bridges and ramps can still be icy.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
