This Spring reminds me of 1979 – no, not 1997. The parallels are amazing for anyone old enough to remember. In 1979 we had only 55 inches of snow, but Spring arrived incredibly late and we got a 49 foot flood as a result. If this current weather continues for another week or more, we will have an historic flood, IMO.
