ROSEAU COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me)Tracey Jo Brodshaug of Warroad, Minnesota, is now facing multiple felony charges related to meth trafficking after a traffic stop led to a major drug seizure on January 24, 2025.

Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Discovery

  • Authorities pulled Brodshaug over after reports of her driving in the wrong lane on Highway 11 in Roseau County.
  • A state trooper smelled marijuana upon approaching the vehicle.
  • A field sobriety test indicated suspicion of DUI, and Brodshaug was found to be driving with a revoked license.
  • An 18-year-old and a child were also in the vehicle at the time.

Drug Seizure at Traffic Stop and Home

  • 38 grams of methamphetamine were discovered inside the vehicle, prompting officers to obtain a search warrant for Brodshaug’s home.
  • Law enforcement executed the search and found an additional 17 grams of meth, bringing the total to over 55 grams.

Charges Filed Against Brodshaug

Brodshaug is now facing:

  • First-Degree Sale of Methamphetamine (Felony) – More than 17 grams
  • Meth Crime Involving Children (Felony)
  • DWI (Misdemeanor)
  • Open Package of Cannabis (Misdemeanor)
  • Driving Under Revocation (Misdemeanor)

Authorities have not ruled out additional charges, and the investigation remains ongoing.
