it’s happened before and it’s apparently happened again gps has uh handed an alleged canadian drug dealer right into the hands of u.s law enforcement according to court records uh 30 year old dwight stevenson of winnipeg has been charged with one count of first-degree possession of more than 50 grams of meth and one charge of second-degree possession of more than 25 grams of cocaine according to the criminal complaint on december 14th officers of the pine du prairie drug task force were notified that stevenson had been detained by homeland security at the war road port of entry with 187 grams of meth and 30 grams of cocaine stevenson had been traveling from winnipeg to his girlfriend in fort francis just across the border from international falls according to court documents he had no intention intention of entering the u.s but simply followed his gps into the hands of agents at the u.s border the first degree possession of more than 50 grams of meth carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
