Warroad Girls Hockey Coach Launches Defamation Lawsuit Against Parents

WARROAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a dramatic turn of events, David Marvin, the esteemed head coach of Warroad High School’s girls hockey team, has taken legal action against a group of parents. Marvin filed a defamation lawsuit against six individuals, alleging baseless accusations against him and the hockey program. The lawsuit comes amidst controversy surrounding the team, with claims of abuse and misconduct surfacing earlier. It’s reported that Marvin is seeking damages and injunctive relief in response to what he perceives as fabricated allegations. This legal action adds another layer of complexity to an already tense situation within one of Minnesota’s most successful high school hockey programs.

  1. Thank you for the report, iNewZTV, and for all of those other reporting venues mentioned in this video. First question is why didn't the law investigate these charges? Next, I suppose we have some clout chasing in the school. I want to say I'm so sorry to the players, families and any other harmed ones. These charges, allegations are very secret in schools where there is no chance we will ever hear about it because it's almost impossible to receive any relief , but instead to be turned on and harmed for calling out the truth. It's everywhere unfortunately. The odds that these brave souls wanted this kind of attention are nearly zero. Therefore, it's a very hard, sad, long road where justice has yet to shine its light always. No person is likely to have sought relief this much to be making anything up. My opinion. And rich people and their foundations… check out the foundation to find the percentage of "donations" that are used for the purpose stated in the establishment papers. Find out what Minnesota allows to be used for "other expenses", what organizations or people benefited from their scholarships/grants, if you need to, get a list of those expenses and who was relieved from paying them. Just an eye from an auditor. The truth will be told. I pray for justice, I believe someone will see how really stupid it was to file this lawsuit. I'm so glad you did. May many more find the strength to cry out. Love and God bless you.

  2. Minnesota nice at it's best … that's how they are up there .. spiteful…i lived and worked up there… jealous.. this man must be doing something right or they wouldn't be going after him

  3. Agreed. The parents came forward only when their daughters were graduating and it wouldnt harm them. Now they put the team in the line of being bullied for still playing. Why is it ok for 1 side, but not for the ones standing by their coach. It was never made clear that they were only trying to help the ones on their side only.
Its crazy bobody holds the parents accountable. They admitted they knew it was happening, but yet still brought them to all practices and games where wete "so called" mentally abused,, which makes them eqaually at fault. Actually they are more to blame because they should be number 1 in keeping them safe. Instead of enabling the "so called' abusers
