Warroad, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – In a disturbing case out of Warroad, Lucky A. Kounlavong of Warroad is now facing serious criminal charges after what police describe as a brutal assault on a family member and her boyfriend.
According to the police report, the female victim told officers that Kounlavong forcefully pulled her to the ground by her hair before kicking her in the face twice. The male victim, who was present during the attack, reported being punched in the nose and threatened with a shovel. In addition to the alleged assaults, authorities say a window at the residence was shattered during the violent outburst.
As a result, Kounlavong has been charged with felony assault, two misdemeanor counts of assault, and criminal damage to property.
