GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) As the latest Blizzard roars into the Northern Valley, check North Dakota and Minnesota DOT road maps, before you even consider traveling. White out conditions in many areas.
well welcome to sunday morning and another blizzard warning in the northern valley here’s the d.o.t cam on i-29 by grand forks it’s 6 a.m as you can see in the graph here from the weather service blizzard warning east and west and north of grand forks look at the road map here at six a.m already no travel advised in almost all of uh northeast north dakota over on the minnesota side here leaving crookston roads are still open but check dot maps advised not to go anywhere this morning visibility out on highway 2 here by crookston is already right around zero at times weather service says blizzard warning remains in effect until 6 pm on this sunday evening snow accumulations 1 to 2 inches with up to 4 inches possible winds gusting as high as 50 mile per hour leading to whiteout conditions as we said uh we have already had gusts and grand forks up to 53 miles per hour a plan on slippery road conditions widespread blowing snow will significantly significantly reduce visibility again make sure you check road maps more likely if you’re anywhere in the northern valley good idea to just uh stay home on this sunday morning and wait for this to pass through uh open country you’re going to run into zero visibility in many areas i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
