WARD COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – A deadly single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Minot man early Saturday morning in Ward County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at approximately 2:22 a.m. on June 28 near mile marker 148 along U.S. Highway 2. A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 was headed eastbound when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled over.
The driver, a 51-year-old man from Minot, died at the scene. Authorities have not released whether he was wearing a seatbelt.
Responding agencies included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Minot Police Department, Minot Fire Department, Trinity Health, and Community Ambulance Service.
The crash is under active investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
