GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Jeremy Aaron Tostrup, 27, faces a daunting legal battle following his initial court appearance in Grand Forks County on June 11. Charged with a Class A felony for possessing over 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, Tostrup could serve up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

The saga began on February 25, when the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force assisted in a traffic stop on Gateway Drive. A K9 unit alerted authorities to Tostrup’s vehicle, leading to the discovery of a significant quantity of methamphetamine.

Despite pleading not guilty to related charges in Pennington County earlier this month, Tostrup’s legal woes persist. His next court appearance, a preliminary hearing and arraignment, is slated for July 26.
