Rolette County (trfnews.i234.me) – Four individuals, including a woman from Valley City, are facing serious drug charges following a June 10 traffic stop in Rolette County that uncovered fentanyl and over $17,000 in cash.

Court documents reveal the Rolette County Sheriff’s Office, working off intel from the Northland Drug Task Force, stopped a vehicle on Highway 281 for failing to maintain its lane. Inside were Tatam Firemoon of Williston, Said Waleed of Michigan, Wyatt Toftee of Minot, and Allison Nelson of Valley City.

Three of the four had outstanding warrants ranging from drug charges to theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. During the vehicle search, deputies found large amounts of cash—$17,420 total—and a green bag of white powder that tested positive for fentanyl. Allison Nelson was found with 180 blue pills and additional powder consistent with fentanyl.

All suspects denied knowledge of the drugs, but were arrested and charged with:

  • Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

  • Conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance
