we have an update on a pedestrian hit by a vehicle in grand forks this morning this now in from sergeant macleod of the grand forks police department it’s on north 42nd street the vehicle was traveling southbound reported as a tow truck a pedestrian was walking southbound on the side of the road and came into contact with the vehicle’s side mirror the pedestrian was transported to altru for non-life-threatening injuries grand forks fire and ambulance assisted with the investigation i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

  1. I'm confused. Didn't the tow-truck driver NOT see the person walking next to the street? Why was the person not using the sidewalk? I'm just happy the victim wasn't seriously injured.

  2. It does beg the question as to why the person decided to walk on the road when the sidewalk isnt super bad. I've seen many people walk down that sidewalk, even saw a dude on a bike go down it just fine.
