mother nature handed out a big disappointment at the grand forks air force base on this saturday afternoon high winds have canceled the show by the thunderbirds it also canceled other area aerial acts that were scheduled thousands of people were on hand and are now leaving at 2 47 p.m we had sustained winds of 26 miles per hour and wind gusts up into the high 30s which is no good for precision flying like the thunderbirds do close to the ground so a big disappointment for all those folks who worked so hard to put on a big show at the grand forks air force base high winds uh cancel the performance by the thunderbirds i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

Imagine the dollar value of gas that people spent to get to the show and back. But, better safe than sorry, someone surely would of crashed.
