we have an update regarding this train derailment up in Northwest Minnesota late on this Wednesday afternoon we just talked with Sheriff Matt vigg this is between Lake Bronson and Lancaster Minnesota now the sheriff says uh Highway 75 is blocked now uh five miles north of Lake Bronson to Lancaster as a precaution he says 20 to 25 cars of a Canadian Railway uh Train derailed here he says the derailment started about 90 cars back from the engine and cars towards the back of the Train derailed he says no one was injured he says about uh eight of the cars appear to have petroleum-based uh liquid in them but none of them are leaking and some of the other cars were Hopper cars again Crews on the way to help clean up the mess again no one injured none of the cars leaking as far as any hazardous material uh problems here but the highway in this area is blocked off as they start to clean up on this Wednesday evening I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

Has there been more derailments this year or does it just seem that way because the news is covering them more?
