GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Travis Forsberg, 42 of Thief River Falls has been identified as driver seriously injured after his truck was hit by a BNSF train in Grand Forks Tuesday morning.
we have an update on this uh train uh truck crash in grand forks on the far north side of grand forks just off north washington street uh by the elevator before the i-29 overpass uh north dakota ohio patrol says the freightliner was traveling west on 54th avenue here uh and it crossed the railroad tracks at this location it was struck on the left side and pushed north on the tracks by a northbound bnsf train the crossing is marked with rail crossing signs and a yield sign the 42 year old male driver of the freightliner was taken to altru hospital with serious injuries seat belt not worn no airbags the crash remains under investigation no train crew members were injured i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
