GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We have an update regarding the Bomb Squad being called to the parking lot of the Alerus Center Tuesday afternoon for a suspicious device that had been left in the parking lot.

  1. It's used to measure the amount of air-entrainment present in ready mix concrete. It was likely forgotten on a road construction project. The top is removed, concrete placed inside and consolidated, top is replaced, water added, and the cylinder pressurized with the hand pump and released into the concrete. The amount of air is displayed via the dial on top (6% is good).
