Narrative:
A truck-tractor semi-trailer combination was westbound on US Highway 2, near the Petersburg overhead. The driver, Chad Ramstad, failed to negotiate a curve in the road, causing the combination to enter the median, tip on its left side, and come to rest in the median. Cargo from the semi-trailer exited the front and entered the cab of the truck tractor. Chad Ramstad sustained serious injuries and was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The crash is currently under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
