WARROAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A woman was killed after colliding with a train near Warroad, Minnesota Saturday morning. It the second fatal vehicle-train crash by Warroad since last month.
we have an update regarding our saturday morning report of a train versus vehicle crash near war road and we now know a woman was killed this in from the roseau county sheriff’s department at 803 a.m saturday they received a call of a train versus vehicle accident on county road 134 just off highway 11 this is about five miles east of war road a female party that was in the vehicle died at the scene no name is being released at this time pending notification of relatives now no other information released by the roseau county sheriff’s department as you can see this crossing is marked with a railroad sign and stop sign but at this point we don’t know what type of vehicle the victim was driving and whether she was broadsided by the train or ran into the side of the train which could indicate distracted driving what we do know is that uh just last month on april 16th another man was killed at a crossing just down the road from here that is marked by cross arms more details when they’re available i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

Roseau County has an issue with people being killed by trains, most if not all have been suicide.
