UPDATE: Resolution to COVID Executive Order Dispute in East Grand Forks Anticipated Today

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) It’s expected we’ll see a resolution to a showdown over Minnesota Governor Walz” Executive Order today that closed bars and restaurants for indoor service until December 18th. In defiance of that order, Jane Moss opened the doors of the Boardwalk Bar & Grill in Downtown East Grand Forks Wednesday evening.

a resolution to a revolt over minnesota governor wall’s covet executive order shutting down bars and restaurants is expected on this thursday on wednesday evening jane moss the owner of the boardwalk bar and grill in downtown east grand forks opened her doors to customers in defiance of that order video on the left here from action for liberty shows east grand forks police chief mike hedlund saying basically he’s just doing his job and presenting her with a copy of the governor’s executive order which prohibits indoor dining and beverage service in minnesota until december 18th moss told us she basically had to open her doors for business or go broke here’s more of what she had to say you know i thought of all the repercussions i know they’re there i’ve been working with action for liberty they have been so supportive i’m also standing on my constitutional rights it is essential for a person to be able to work in their chosen profession and to earn a living that’s our legal right to do and to try to take that away from me without a fight yes i know there’s going to be repercussions but i believe in our community as well that they will support having us back open east grand forks police told inews they’ve been talking to the minnesota attorney general’s office and health department officials for guidance we can likely expect the answer as to the state’s response to this defiance of the governor’s covet executive order today we’ll keep you updated check back later i’m neal carlson reporting for trfnews.i234.me
